Coding is How We Talk to Computers!

Our New Program Teaches Indigenous Girls to Code

We are delighted to announce a collaboration with SONAC: “Sisterhood of Native American Coders,” a nonprofit organization founded by Elisabeth Holm.

SONAC will provide an interactive introduction to STEM for 9 – 12 year old Native American girls.

We will be hosting an online program creating projects, inviting influential guest speakers, and concluding with participation in a coding competition. The program will be engaging, challenging, and, most importantly, lots of fun.

Completion of the program makes participants eligible for a full scholarship (valued at $2,000) to Space Camp’s Robotics Camp 2021, at the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL.

Interested? It’s free!

Online gatherings are planned to begin July 2020.
