Want to send your child on an adventure of a lifetime?

If you are a girl of Indigenous heritage, between the ages of 9 – 12, then you may qualify to go to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, Aug. We currently have spots available and are looking for you! 😍

To Enter: Have your parent send us an email: saying: why you would like to go to space camp, a photo of your last report card, and a teacher recommendation. We will be announcing the winner May 5, 2021.

About Taking Up Space: Our program covers the entire cost of sending your child to Space Camp. The trip is completely chaperoned, and your child is cared for 24/7. We are flying out of the Tucson airport early morning on August 16th and returning late afternoon August 21st. Here are Space Camp’s frequently asked questions:

There is a serious educational deficit in retaining middle school girls’ interest in STEM and STEM-related areas throughout our nation. We believe to keep girls interested in STEM we must instill confidence and self-esteem, while providing a unique STEM experience.

The Taking Up Space mission is to expand the opportunities and future educational and career goals for Native American girls, by immersing them in STEM for six days at Space Camp.
